After someone failed to brake in time and lightly hit the back of my car, I was left with broken fog lights/reverse light bulb and several scratches. This garage inspected the car thoroughly, explained everything clearly, and provided the most reasonable quote compared to three other local garages.
The work was carried out perfectly — the repairs were flawless and my car was returned in absolutely pristine condition. What really stood out was the attention to detail: not only was the exterior immaculate, but the interior had also been spruced up, which was a very pleasant surprise.
The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful at every step of the process. Overall, a brilliant experience from start to finish. I will definitely be using this garage again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Having moved to the Loughton, Essex, area I needed a reliable car-servicing firm. On recommendation, I have used Theydon Garage on three occasions (including for MOT, and for major engine work), and have been happy with the results. [I have a Ford Fiesta] The manager, Anwar, is a straightforward, honest fellow, and his lead mechanic is a thorough and knowledgeable (older) Englishman. The prices are also fair. The only drawback is the positioning of the business, as it is a little out of the way, half-way along Gravel Lane, at a small industrial area called 'Taylors'. I either arrange for a relative to collect me or order a taxi. But this a minor inconvenience for being able to access a good, reliable service.

Needed new brake discs and pads in a desperate hurry to get home 160 miles away. They stepped up, I called, the answer was were are busy but YES, can you bring it in. I did, they dropped straight on it, I said if it needs all 4 doing, do it, but honesty prevailed, the backs didn't need it, they didn't do it.
I really was so impressed by service, speed, cost and courtesy, this is a superb company.
Trustworthy, helpful, polite. Its a big yes from me. Thank you all.
